In 2019, deep in the Nordic winter, our founder stood in front of her bathroom mirror — exhausted, skin inflamed, gut unhappy, and confidence at an all-time low. She had tried it all: drugstore creams, trending detox kits, and expensive salon promises that didn’t deliver.

Nothing felt right. Everything felt… disconnected.

So she began a journey — not just to heal her skin, but to rebalance her body, mind, and spirit. Along the way, she met herbalists, nutritionists, and skin experts from Denmark to Japan. What started as a personal healing ritual quickly evolved into a mission:

That’s how Lumysō was born — inspired by the Latin word “lumen” (light) and the Japanese concept of “yoso” (nourishment).
